G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a SBA Sr.
Loan Underwriter to join its team in Osage Beach, MO or remotely.
Summary
The SBA Sr.
Underwriter is responsible for analyzing and risk-assessing credit applications for SBA 7a, 504 & Express loans, and USDA loans to ensure compliance with the Company’s credit risk management strategy, the Company’s credit policy, and the SBA and USDA loan programs.
Knowledge of commercial lending and USDA/SBA lending processes is required.
Responsibilities:
Working knowledge of the USDA Loan Programs & SBA 7a, Express & 504 Loan Programs.
Thorough knowledge of cash flow analysis, ratio analysis, and projections, as well as commercial loan structuring and documentation.
Discounted collateral calculation, basic balance sheet ratio analysis, and formal credit training are a plus.
Solid qualitative and quantitative analytical skills; excellent conceptual, writing, and communication skills.
Knowledge of real estate appraisal techniques and regulations governing Environmental Reporting.
Skilled with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and related software applications (nCino is a plus).
Solution-oriented approach to overcoming issues, with a keen focus on problem-solving and customer service, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal and external customers.
Well organized, ability to multi-task, and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
Must be able to work in a team environment and adapt to change.
Must complete all required training, including Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-money Laundering training, suitable to his or her position within the bank.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have extensive Government Guaranteed Lending experience.
Five or more years of experience in a credit analysis role relative to SBA/USDA lending.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in business administration, finance, accounting, or economics preferred.
