Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to join our team.
As an Escrow Officer, you will be responsible for facilitating real estate transactions by ensuring that all necessary documentation and funds are properly processed and disbursed.
Your attention to detail and knowledge of escrow procedures will be essential in providing excellent service to our clients.
Duties:
- Manage the entire escrow process from opening to closing, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Review and analyze contracts, loan documents, and other related paperwork
- Coordinate with lenders, title companies, real estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction
- Prepare settlement statements and other necessary documents for closing
- Collect and disburse funds according to instructions
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on the progress of their transaction
- Maintain accurate records of all escrow transactions
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of escrow procedures and practices
- Familiarity with bank and loan processing procedures
- Understanding of Fair Housing regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficient in basic math skills for calculations related to escrow transactions
- Knowledge of mortgage servicing and credit analysis is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
