Emu chicks standard, blonde, and white - $250 (Conroe)

DNA sexed emu chicks, standards are $250 each, blondes are $500, and White $800.
Emus are easy to raise and can be really tame if handled regularly while they are still young.
The chicks eat regular un medicated chick starter and chopped Kale or other greens.
We sell them at three weeks or older so at that age they may still require a heat lamp and shelter from cold and rain if the temperature drops below 60 degrees.
They are fun and amusing but do require plenty of space to run and play.
It is important to keep them on a non slip surface to protect their long legs from injuries.
We have been hatching and selling emus for many years and we are always available to help our customers.
They will mature at 5 to 6 ft tall so again they do need plenty of space.
About a quarter of one acre is sufficient for a grown pair.
We are located in Conroe and will be hatching chicks from now until June.
