com/jobs Driver II- Street Department Qualifications: * High School diploma/GED * Valid Texas Commercial driver license * Six months' experience in driving heavy trucks.
* On call 24 hours daily for emergencies * Ability to understand oral and written instructions.
* Ability to lead work activities of subordinates as needed Duties Include: * Operation of heavy trucks and trailers used in the construction and maintenance of city streets * Transports materials for the construction and maintenance of city streets * Provides labor as needed including jack hammer, asphalt rake and shoveling * Maintains daily records including loads of materials transported to and from each jobsite * Minor maintenance and repairs to trucks * Cleans culverts and drains during flood conditions * Assists in cutting overhanging limbs * Inspects detention ponds and creeks for required maintenance Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $17.
