*Tired of driving a bus full of unruly children? We have small 30 passenger buses with well behaved children that we take and pick up from local elementary schools.
This can be a part-time spilt shift position or it can be a full-time position (child care of office duties would be done between bus driving times).
You must have a class B license with a passenger endorsement for this position.

During the summer we take the students on a variety of exciting field trips.
You would get to drive the bus to these locations and enjoy the excitement the students have as they go on these field trips.
You would be one of the supervising employees responsible for their safety while away from the center.

*Essential Functions Statement(s)*
* Minimum of 2 year experience driving a commercial or large vehicle (desired)
* Valid Texas Commercial Driver's License Class B with a "P" Passenger endorsement (No record of DWI or convictions for the past 10 years and acceptable driving records according to Texas Department of Public Safety standards
* Must be 21 years of age
* Comply with traffic regulations to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
* Check the condition of a vehicle's tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety equipment to ensure that everything is in working order.
* Maintain order among pupils during trips to ensure safety.
* Report any bus malfunctions or needed repairs.
* Drive gasoline, diesel, or electrically powered multi-passenger vehicles to transport students between neighborhoods, schools, and school activities.
* Maintain knowledge of first-aid procedures.
* Keep bus interiors clean for passengers.
* Read maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions.
* Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations, using telephones or mobile two-way radios.
* Regulate heating, lighting, and ventilation systems for passenger comfort.
Tomorrow’s Promise Montessori Schools is growing and we will be opening our 3rd location soon! We are looking for a certified bus driver that is comfortable teaching a *variety of age groups, from being in a nursery to elementary school-aged children.
