CDL Class A Driver- Tanker/Flatbed

*CAPCO Transport, LLC* *CDL Driver Job Description* *Job Description:* We are looking for CDL Class A drivers who will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods and other materials of trade to our customers, as well as pick up material goods to bring back to our facility.
We strive to have all drivers home every night and on weekends.
*Responsibilities and Duties:* ● Maintain a positive attitude with customers and coworkers.
● Follow all traffic laws.
● Drive to deliver products/materials to customers.
● Ability to plan routes using a GPS system.
● Ability to operate Electronic Log Device(ELD).
● Ability to secure loads and operate tanker trailer controls/hose(Flatbed/Tanker-On job training available).
● Fill out paperwork associated with deliveries.
● Report incidents to dispatcher/ DOT Compliance Company Officer.
● Inspect truck/trailer for pre and post inspections and record issues.
● Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel.
● Take random drug/alcohol tests per DOT regulations.
● Get deliveries to the client on time in a safe manner.
● Keep CDL up to date.
● Keep the truck clean and washed.
● Attend safety training and compliance meetings.
● Perform other duties as required by management.
*Qualifications:* ● CDL Class A ● TWIC Card Preferred\* ● Tanker Endorsement Preferred\* ● Hazardous Material Endorsement Preferred\* * All drivers must be able to legally haul tanker trailers with hazmat endorsement within 45 days of hiring date.
\*Reimbursement program upon completion and approval.
● Must have a clean driving record for the past 3 years.
● Must provide a current medical card.
● Must pass a background check and drug/ alcohol test.
