*Job Summary:* Performs routine accounting and office administration assistance.
Work involves accounting procedures, disseminating information, maintaining filing systems, and performing administrative support work.
Works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
*Job Duties:*
* Assists in maintaining manual and electric filing systems for Doughtie Construction, Doughtie & Associates, and Lazy D Ranch.
* Performs duties by paying monthly bills and entering invoices and bills into QuickBooks.
* Reconciling vendor and bank statements within QuickBooks.
* Routine office procedures to include answering phones, responding to emails, opening/sorting mail, filing, and placing general office supply orders.
* _\*Performs a variety of other duties not listed, to be determined and assigned as needed.

*Essential Knowledge and Skills:*
* General office practice and procedures.
* The ability to communicate ideas and instruction clearly and concisely, written and verbally.
* Have the ability to prepare and maintain accurate records, files, and reports.
* Skilled to coordinate with other staff, agencies, organizations, and the public with professionalism.
* Skilled in the use of computers and related office equipment.
* Have attention to detail at all times
