*The primary purpose of this position:*
Collection of delinquent business personal property and mobile home accounts through research, taxpayer contacts, field visits and litigation and also serve as primary back-up to Taxpayer Liaison
*Essential Functions:*
1.
Analyze delinquent tax roll accounts and determine appropriate actions.
2.
Make outbound collection calls to delinquent taxpayers.
3.
Plan and conduct field visits using efficient routes.
4.
Accurately code and notate DTAX and ACT systems as necessary.
5.
Monitor payments on targeted accounts.
6.
Assist in preparation and execution of tax warrants and seizures.
7.
Perform necessary research to determine proper ownership and addresses.
8.
Create and witness e-payments in DTAX.
9.
Accept and process payments in DTAX system.
10.
Create and monitor payment agreements in ACT system.
11.
Notify Operations Director/Attorney upon discovery of questionable assessments.
12.
Serve as backup for Taxpayer Liaison-including answering phones, assisting taxpayers, create payment agreements, processing payments, disbursements and mail.
13.
Initialize litigation on BPP and MH accounts in DTAX system.
14.
Any and all other duties as assigned.
*Physical Demands & Work Environment:*
1.
Primarily sitting at a desk and working on a personal computer.
2.
Occasional standing, bending, lifting small boxes, and walking into businesses
3.
Able to safely operate a motor vehicle.
4.
Must be able to navigate around the county and get in and out of a vehicle multiple times a day in various weather conditions.
*Non-Essential Functions:*
1.
General administrative and clerical support.
2.
Delivery of payments and documents to Tax Office/Courthouse.

Familiarity with Texas Property Tax system.

Valid Texas Driver License, insurance, and reliable transportation.
2.
Bilingual in Spanish and English required.

Pay: $34,000.
