Roles and Responsibilities:
The Payroll/HR Assistant is responsible for all duties related to payroll functions and to provide support to Human Resources in any area needing assistance.
For this position, day-to-day responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to:
1.
Maintain, review, and process all weekly payroll functions while ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
2.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, changes to pay rates, benefits, etc.
3.
Assist Human Resources, as needed.
4.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must have experience using ADP Workforce software, Microsoft Office software (Word and Excel) and the ability to create documents and functional spreadsheets.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a courteous/professional manner.
Must have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Competency:
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 1 year ADP Workforce Now experience.
Payroll/HR Assistant will be adequately trained to perform related duties.
Desired Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of basic Human Resource functions.
