Sr. Accountant

Hello candidate! Blue Cardinal Home Services is seeking a Sr.
Accountant! This individual is someone with high energy and a team player who will help assist in our Corporate FP&A Department.
The Sr.
Accountant is someone with purchasing experience.
This position is a 90-120 day contract that could turn into a full time position.
*Skills:* * Month end closing duties * General Ledger and report writing maintenance * Oversight of systems and Integrations and migrations of new entities into G/L.
* Monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
* Sale and use tax reporting * Auditor Interface * Supervision of other accounting staff * Experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and reporting * Ability to understand business models and form links to financial implications.
* High attention to detail with exceptional eye for data and reporting accuracy.
* Familiarity with financial management and accounting concepts.
* Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including the ability to convert large datasets accurately and efficiently into compelling outputs for decision-making by the business.
*Qualifications:* * Active CPA certificate in good standing.
* M&A experience required.
* Software migration experience desired.
* Experience in multi-unit, multi-location organizations.
* Experience in Service industry * Experience with project or construction accounting.
* 4 year degree in Accounting.
* 5 years of general ledger and financial reporting experience.
* Audit experience – either as a client or outside auditor.
* Minimum 3 years as a supervisor, manager or lead *Other Duties*: Perform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or redesigned depending upon individual circumstances.
Performs other work duties as assigned.
