InSite Property Group seeks a regular full-time Payroll, Compensation, and Benefits Specialist who will assist with day-to-day administration and managing the total rewards programs.
The position will manage and process the payroll for InSite Property Group and SecureSpace Self Storage.
Additionally, this position will serve as a resource to explain benefit plans, 401K, and other program procedures; prepare, assist, or lead quarterly/annual audits; and maintain records in accordance with guidelines and regulations.
Objective: The Payroll, Compensation, and Benefits Specialist will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: payroll, compensation, benefits administration, and workers' compensation claims.
Responsibilities: Assist in the payroll transaction and transmission process to Nextep.
Solve Payroll issues independently by utilizing reference materials, policies and procedures.
Review and reconcile attendance records and payroll.
Research and resolve various personnel, payroll, and benefit issues.
Prepare salary determination.
Provide consultative guidance at all levels of the organization on compensation matters.
Collaborate with business units in maintaining organizational compensation structure and compensation-related matters for their ecosystems.
Administer and facilitate the company's annual merit increase and bonus programs.
Develop and maintain a library of benchmark positions to conduct a company-wide market analysis on a regular basis; analyze salary structure to ensure midpoints, mid-to-mid differentials, and range spreads are competitive to attract and retain talent.
Support the development, design, evaluation, implementation, and administration of the organization's compensation programs and initiatives.
Lead compensation projects and initiatives as assigned.
Audit and reviews Payroll benefit deductions and benefits invoices as needed.
Collect, develop, review, and facilitate completion of annual benefits and compensation compliance requirements such as Summary Plan Descriptions, required filings, communications, testing, and reporting.
Assist in internal/external audit responses.
Serve as the lead for Worker's Compensation claims.
Monitor the claim from start to finish and be the POC for the EE until return to work.
Other duties as assigned.
Other Functions: Must be willing to travel to other company sites as necessary.
Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed.

Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience 3+ years' experience in employee relations or human resources 5+ years of payroll experience 2+ years of benefits and compensation experience Highly skilled with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, V lookups, micros, macros, and pivot tables Upholds the utmost integrity and maintains confidentiality impeccably.
Sound judgment and people-skills Culture and employee experience is a requirement.
Ability to work autonomously and act with a sense of urgency.
Active listener, effective communicator (both written and verbal) Experience supporting hourly employee client groups.
Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of an organization.
Proficiency with PEO, ADP, HRIS, Workday, and Microsoft office systems a plus Physical Requirements: 25% Travel nationwide if and when required based on business needs.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
