_*Duties/Responsibilities:*_
Financial Reporting Analysis:
* Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with accounting standards.
* Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Collaborate with finance leadership, providing strategic insights for decision-making.
General Ledger Management:
* Manage general ledger accounts, reconciliations, and journal entries with a full-cycle accounting approach.
* Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data and transactions.
* Lead efforts in maintaining and improving the chart of accounts.
Audit and Compliance:
* Lead and coordinate internal and external audit processes.
* Ensure strict compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
* Provide thorough documentation and support during audits.
Financial Operations Support:
* Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
* Review and approve financial transactions, invoices, and expenses.
* Collaborate with team members to optimize financial processes.
*Additional Qualifications*
Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills
* Must independently perform VLookups, SumIfs, Pivot Tables.
Full-Cycle Accounting Expertise
* Minimum of 5+ years, demonstrating a deep understanding of how each function impacts financial statements.
Monthly Close Experience
* Proficient in meeting associated deadlines and preparing necessary journal entries and schedules.
Reconciliation and Variance Analysis
* Expertise in preparing reconciliations and providing insightful analysis for balance sheet accounts and income statements.
Bank Account Management
* Daily analysis, reconciliations, and proactive monitoring.
Consolidation Skills
* Experience consolidating financials from different entities on a quarterly basis.
Development Team Collaboration
* Familiarity with amortization schedules, loans, and draws.
Corporate Card Reconciliation
* Serve as an additional administrator for reconciliation tools.
CPA Year-End Review
* Assist and collaborate seamlessly with CPA for year-end reviews.
QBO Experience
* A plus but not required.
