As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
• General accounting and policy application & process administration for all cycles including inventory, revenue recognition, receivables/payables, intercompany, etc.
Understand and interpret applicable Enterprise Standards, SOP and Process Maps to deliver globally competitive financial process/accounting services.
• Preparing and consolidating monthly plant financial analysis, performance reports, KPIs, with deep understanding of variances to plan for pitch outs to upper management.
• Track various Projects for Direct Material Productivity, Cost of Quality and absorption optimization at a granular level, recommend actions to get to planned performance.
Ensure operational team are engaged and driving projects to closure.
• Effective communication with other functional areas required.
Influencing peers to meet the
objectives.
• Handling work requiring analysis and interpretation.
Procedures don't cover all the exceptions.
Approaches for exceptions have to be developed.
• Overseeing the preparation of the monthly management accounts for the facility within the timelines set out and provide financial commentary on the same.
• Providing financial advice and support to the team leaders within the facility.
• Providing financial inputs at the monthly operations reviews.
• Responsible for the preparation of quarterly and annual financial plans for the site.
• Ensuring that adequate internal financial controls exist and are adhered to within the facility.
• Working closely with accounting teams in various locations to ensure that the financial accounts and the payroll are prepared within the set timelines.
To be successful in this role you will:
• Have a Degree in Accounting or equivalent discipline is required.
• Hold a recognized professional accounting qualification.
• Have proven experience in a Finance position supporting a high-performance manufacturing operation.
• The successful candidate will be customer focused and act as a liaison between Finance and Operations.
• Have excellent communication, organization and time management skills with the ability to manage several priorities at once will be required as will a high level of flexibility with a high-level commitment to success.
• The successful candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint packages.
• Have strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Have ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $58.
