ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK-2+ YRS EXP-WAREHOUSE INVOICE PROCESSING A PLUS!

*This position requires someone with 2+ years of Accounts Payables Exp.
Processing invoices in a warehouse environment is a plus* Duties ) Prep invoices for the invoices to check off against proof report to post for payment 2) Once they are checked off, prepare them for document imaging 3) Prepare warehouse receivers for document imaging 4) Print invoices from accounts payable email drive 5) Open invoices that come via mail 6) Process and reconcile invoices in a timely manner 7) Some research concerning invoices such as payment statuses, etc 8) Provide paperwork to vendors concerning warehouse receivers 9) Provide procurement with any paperwork they need - Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments - Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies - Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions - Prepare and process journal entries for accounts payable transactions - Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred - Proven experience as an accounts payable clerk = 2+ years - Strong knowledge of financial concepts, debits, credits, and journal entries Must be Self-motivated and have an analytical background.
